Books-In-Schools Program
Bring the dreams and fantasies of carousels into a school's library.
Salem's Riverfront carousel is a non-profit organization dedicated to touching the hearts, sparking the imagination, and igniting the creative spirits of children throughout the community. In order to foster cultural and educational opportunities we are offering a 25 book set to schools throughout Oregon. This is a great opportunity to donate to your local schools. Your purchase of 25 books (5 each of our 5 children's books) will be tax-deductible through the school you make your donation to. The donor will be recognized on a label on the inside cover of each book donated to the school.

Ambassador Program - In-School Assemblies
Bring Salem's Riverfront Carousel into your school!
Book a Carousel assembly at your school - present to a single class, entire school assembly or by grade level. Presentation is approximately 1hr 15min.
NO COST!
Presentation Includes:
*History of Salem's Riverfront Carousel (overhead presentation)
*Fun Facts about the horses (overhead presentation)
*A visit by "Ambassador" - the traveling Carousel pony
*Sharing of a Carousel book to be left as a gift for your library
*A 'School Packet' of classroom materials (word search, puzzle mazes, and crossword) for interactive learning opportunities.
*Buy One Ride, Get One Free Ride coupons for students to take home

Carousel Tour
Bring your group/school to Salem's Riverfront Carousel!
Book a group/school tour at the carousel!
There is NO COST for the tour itself - only rides.
Tour Includes (approximately 30min to 1hr):
*A guided tour from staff/volunteers - upon request/availability
*View display cases and display room
*Participate in a Carousel QUIZ Trivia Hunt
*Ride the Carousel ($1.25/ride or purchase a discount ride program - Pay-It-Forward 125 rides for $100, $25/25 Ride punchcard, or $20/20 Ride punchcard)
*A 'School Packet' of classroom materials (word search, puzzle mazes, and crossword) for interactive learning opportunities.

District AV Materials
Bring Carousel activities into your classroom!
