GETTING HERE

Salem's Riverfront Carousel is located at the intersection of Front St and State St in the heart of historic Downtown Salem, Oregon's capital city! The Carousel is nestled in the center of Salem’s Riverfront Park halfway between Gilbert House Children's Museum and The Eco-Earth Globe near the bank of the Willamette river near our neighbor Willamette Queen sternwheeler. 

 

Please follow the driving directions below, and call us if you have any questions. Parking spots may be limited during peak hours and seasons. Additional parking spots can be found at the North parking lot behind the Gilbert House Children's Museum, or in a variety of nearby parking garages in downtown. Parking is at your own risk. Please observe all posted signs and be mindful of any parking restrictions.

From Highway 22 Eastbound:
Cross the Center St. Bridge (over the Willamette River) into Salem; keep to the right and follow the OR22/OR99E exit onto Front St; stay in the right lane and turn right onto State St. which enters into our parking lot.

From 1-5:
Market St. Exit #256 West on Market St. approximately 2.5 miles; turn left on Commercial St.; continue through downtown Salem and take a right onto State St; continue straight through light at Front St and enter into our parking lot straight ahead.
