​YEAR ROUND GIVING

CAROUSEL CARES PROGRAM: Free Rides for persons with a disability

Ever since our opening day, Salem’s Carousel has made it a mission to make the Carousel a safe and welcoming place for all to enjoy. We have made improvements to our accessibility, offer Sensory Hour every month and give up free rides to persons with a disability.

 

$5,000 for the full year, $2,500 for 6 months sponsorship, or $450 sponsorship for an individual month.

 

For a sponsor of $1,000 or more, they will also receive one Family Annual Ride Pass valid for one year (value of $299). For a single sponsor of $5,000 or more, they will also receive one After Hours Private Event Package (valued at $650).

JANUARY 2027​

​College Spirit Day

Sunday January 24th

It will be a day full of TEAM SPIRIT ahead of the College Football Championship game! Guests that wear their favorite college team’s gear will receive a free BOGO ride ticket. We will put the progress of our Oregon State Beaver and our Willamette University Bearcat on display and will deck out The Duck for the day. A free football themed craft and game will be provided for kids to enjoy during their visit with us.

 

We are seeking a $100 sponsorship for this event. Sponsorship and business logo/information must be received by Dec 15th to be included in final event marketing.

FEBRUARY 2027​

​Sweet Pea's Valentine

Sunday February 14th

Sweet Pea’s Valentine Happy Valentine’s Day! Our Sweet Pea the Llama will host our day filled with love. We will have our 10-rides passes on sale and will give away valentine candy and provide a free craft for kids to enjoy during their visit.

 

We are seeking a $100 sponsorship for this event. Sponsorship and business logo/information must be received by Jan 15th to be included in final event marketing.

​Magic & Thunder's Tell a Fairytale Day

Saturday February 27th (National Tell a Fairytale Day)

Magic & Thunder’s Fairytale Day Guests will enjoy a day filled with magic and entertainment. Free fairytale storytelling by local volunteer actors & storytellers, magical face painting, and fairytale crafts! We will also be hosting a book drive. Sponsorship helps to cover the cost of supplies, face painting and staffing so that we can provide all activities at not cost to our visitors.

 

We are seeking a $500 sponsorship for this event. Sponsorship and business logo/information must be received by Jan 15th to be included in final event marketing.

MARCH 2027​​

Spring Charm's Lucky Day

Sunday March 15th

We will hide carousel tokens & prizes around the Carousel throughout the day for guests to find! Sponsorship will help to offset our costs of supplies and prizes for the public.

 

We are seeking a $100 sponsorship for this event. Sponsorship and business logo/information must be received by Feb 15th to be included in final event marketing. ​

​Ronnie the Rabbit's Hoppy Easter Egg Hunt

Sunday April 5th

We will hide eggs filled with carousel tokens, candy or prizes around the Carousel throughout the day for guests to find! A free craft activity will also be available for kids to enjoy during their visit. We will have Ronnie the Rabbit’s progress on display. Sponsorship will help to offset our costs of supplies and prizes for the public.

 

We are seeking a $100 sponsorship for this event. Sponsorship and business logo/information must be received by Mar 1st to be included in final event marketing.

APRIL 2027​​

Mr. Hopkin's Day!

Saturday April 3rd

It's World Aquatic Animal Awareness Day and Mr. Hopkins will host the day! We will have our 10-rides passes on sale and will have a free craft for kids to enjoy during their visit.

We are seeking a $100 sponsorship for this event. Sponsorship and business logo/information must be received by Mar 1st to be included in final event marketing.

 

A Little Mermaid's Under the Sea Tea

Sunday April 18th

A popular princess from the sea will delight guests with song and entertainment as they dine over a full spread of delicious sandwiches, pastries and desserts. A keepsake photo, carousel rides and a gift are included. We charge $35 per person for this event.

 

Sponsorship helps to offset costs for staffing, talent, decorations, catering and supplies.

 

We are seeking a $1,000 sponsorship for this event. Two $500 sponsors, or a single $1,000 sponsor. Sponsorship and business logo/information must be received by Feb 15th to be included in final event marketing.  For a sponsor of $1,000 or more, they will also receive one Family Annual Ride Pass valid for one year (value of $299).

Blackberry's Earth Day Activity

Saturday April 24th

Happy Earth Day! Blackberry the Deer will host the day. Little visitors will enjoy a FREE flower potting activity and a plant stake art craft.

Abby's Derby Day

Saturday May 1st

It’s time for the Kentucky Derby, and Abby will host in winning spirit a day filled with pomp and circumstance! We will have our 10-rides passes on sale. Guests will enjoy complimentary non-alcoholic mint juleps, a FREE craft activity, horse racing games and more!

 

We are seeking a $200 sponsorship for this event. Sponsorship and business logo/information must be received by Apr 1st to be included in final event marketing.

Pancho's Cinco de Mayo Kids Happy Hour

Wednesday May 5th Pancho’s Cinco de Mayo Kids Happy Hour Happy Cinco de Mayo! Pancho will be hosting a kid-friendly happy hour with $1 rides for sale, a FREE craft, and complimentary chips, salsa & lemonade!

 

We are seeking a $250 sponsorship for this event. Sponsorship and business logo/information must be received by Apr 1st to be included in final event marketing.

Mr. Sprinkles' Day of Smiles

Sunday May 30th

Happy National Smile Day! Mr. Sprinkles will host the day to bring joy and smiles to all those that visit us. Guests will enjoy a complimentary cookie or treat and a free craft for all visitors. We will have specialists onsite bringing awareness to pediatric dental health. 10-rides passes will also be on sale for only $15 all day.

JUNE 2027​​

Salem Carousel's 26th Birthday Party Bash

Saturday June 5th

We offer a FREE birthday craft, face painting and serve complimentary cake to guests. And to turn back the clock to our opening day, we offer rides for only $1 each all day!

 

Sponsorship helps us to offset supplies, entertainment, staffing, and discounted ride costs for the day. We are seeking a $500 sponsorship for this event. Sponsorship and business logo/information must be received by Apr 15th to be included in final event marketing.

Galactic Heroes Carousel Takeover Day & Free Saber Training Classes

Saturday Jun 19th

This event is offered as an upgraded experience for guests that want to take part in a Galactic Heroes Activity Pass. Carousel rides, goody bag and popcorn included. We also offer free activity pages, character meet & greets and light saber training classes for all guests to enjoy. Sponsorship will offset our expenses for supplies and staffing.

 

This is in partnership with volunteer organizations Star Wars Oregon and Felucia Temple Saber Guild. ​

 

We are seeking a $300 sponsorship for this event. Sponsorship and business logo/information must be received by May 1st to be included in final event marketing.

JULY 2027​​

Bucky's Independence Day Celebration

Saturday July 3rd

To kick off the Independence holiday, Bucky will host a day filled with activities and games inspired by the American West. Guest can opt to upgrade their visit with the Bucky Pass for $12 which will include a Western goody bag, 3 rides, popcorn and craft. We will also offer a free activity for all guests to enjoy.

Liberty's National Carousel Day

Saturday July 24th

To celebrate carousels, we will gift the first 100 riders with a FREE ride. A carousel themed free craft will also be available for guests to enjoy during their visit.

 

We are seeking a $100 sponsorship for this event. Sponsorship and business logo/information must be received by Jun 15th to be included in final event marketing.

Patch's Talk Like a Pirate Day

Sunday September 19th

Patch’s Talk Like a Pirate Day Featuring Patch the Pirate Pony! This event is offered as an upgraded experience for guests that want to take part in pirate themed crafts, carousel rides, a goody bag, and a food treat. We also offer door prizes, free paper craft and photo booth activities for all guests to enjoy!

 

Sponsorship helps to offset staffing and supplies costs. We are seeking a $300 sponsorship for this event. Sponsorship and business logo/information must be received by Aug 1st to be included in final event marketing.

SCARE-ousel Bash

Saturday October 31st 

This event is offered as an upgraded experience for guests that want to take part in Halloween crafts, carousel rides, a goody bag, and a food treat. We also offer door prizes, free paper craft and photo booth activities for all guests to enjoy!

 

We are seeking a $300 sponsorship for this event. Sponsorship and business logo/information must be received by Sept 1st to be included in final event marketing.

HOLIDAYS 2027

Santa's Photo Card

This is your chance to sponsor the photo card holder! For our very popular Photos with Santa, each printed photo is mounted in a photo holder. Photo holders are printed with a holiday themed Carousel cover, with room for a sponsorship name/logo on the back of the card. Sponsorship covers the cost to print and deliver over 2,000 cards needed for the 2026 holiday season.

 

We are seeking a $1,000 sponsorship. For a single sponsor at $1,000, they will also receive one Family Annual Ride Pass valid for one year (value of $299). Sponsorship and business logo/information must be received by Sep 15th to ensure adequate production time for the photo cards.

Photos & Visits with Santa

Salem’s Riverfront Carousel has become a staple to many families across Salem-area and beyond for their annual visit with Santa. Become a sponsor of our Photos with Santa activation for 2026. Thousands of guests will arrive to the Carousel during this season for their photo with Santa.

 

We are seeking $5,000 in sponsorships for this event. Five sponsors at $1,000 each, two at $2,500 or one sponsor at $5,000. For a sponsor of $1,000 or more, they will also receive one Family Annual Ride Pass valid for one year (value of $299).

 

For a single sponsor of $5,000 or more, they will also receive one After Hours Private Event Package (valued at $650). Sponsorship and business logo/information must be received by Sep 15th to be included in final event marketing.

Letter from Santa

We will let you in on a little secret... Did you know that our staff and volunteers respond to over 1,500 letters received at the Carousel for Santa? Sponsorship helps us cover the cost of postage, printing and supplies so that we can continue sharing the magic of the holidays through personalized postcards at no cost to families.

 

We are seeking a $1,000 sponsorship for this activity. For a single sponsor of $1,000 or more, they will also receive one Family Annual Ride Pass valid for one year (value of $299). Sponsorship and business logo/information must be received by Sep 15th to be included in final event marketing.

Glad Tiding's Holiday Open House

Saturday November 6th

We will kick off the holiday season with Glad Tidings hosting for the day!

We will have 10-ride passes on sale, holiday crafts and gift shop merchandise on sale. Sponsorship helps to cover staffing and the cost of supplies.

Santa's Arrival to Salem Aboard the Carousel Express Train

Friday November 26th

This event is completely FREE for all guests. Visitors wait in anticipation for Santa & Buddy’s arrival to Salem aboard the Carousel Express Train. They sip on complimentary hot cocoa, learn about train track safety, and enjoy free crafts. Upon arrival, Santa will be ready for photos and visits. Sponsorship helps to cover staffing, talent and supplies.

DECEMBER 2027

Galactic Heroes & Holiday Crafts Day

Saturday December 6th

This event is completely FREE for all guests as a gift to the community during the holiday season. Includes character meet & greets (with our partnership with Star Wars Oregon) and a FREE holiday craft. Sponsorship helps to cover staffing and the cost of supplies.

 

We are seeking a $300 sponsorship for this event. Sponsorship and business logo/information must be received by Sep 15th to be included in final event marketing.

Breakfast with Santa

Saturday December 18th

This is one of our most beloved events. Upon arrival, children will find their names on Santa's nice list. Guests will enjoy a delicious breakfast spread and mimosas for the adults. They will have unlimited carousel rides and will take a professional keepsake photo with Santa. Children will also take home a special gift from Santa. We charge guests $30-$40 per person. Sponsorship will help us cover the additional costs to staff the event, secure decorations and supplies, and offset catering and entertainer costs.

 

We are seeking a $1,500 sponsorship for this event. Two sponsors at $750 each or one sponsor at $1,500. For a single sponsor at $1,000 or more, they will also receive one Family Annual Ride Pass valid for one year (value of $299). A Highland Holiday Tea Party

Sunday December 19th

We delight guests with a special Scottish fairytale princess who brings extra magic to the Carousel with song and entertainment. This year’s theme is inspired by the Scottish Highlands and our very own Highland Laddie. Guests will enjoy a full tea service & brunch buffet featuring a selection of delicious sandwiches, pastries and desserts. They will take home a gift, keepsake photo and a Carousel rides pass! We charge guests $35 per person. Sponsorship will help us cover the additional costs to staff the event, secure decorations and supplies, and offset catering and entertainer costs. ​

Pajama Party with Santa & Buddy

Thursday December 23rd

Annual Signature Event! This is one of our most beloved events. 100 guests will come dressed in their holiday pajamas ready to party! Upon arrival, families will take their professional keepsake photo with Santa. Then, they will enjoy an evening of holiday crafts, yummy food, games with Buddy the Elf and unlimited Carousel rides. We charge guests $35 per person. Sponsorship will help us cover the additional costs to staff the event, secure decorations and supplies, and offset catering and entertainer costs.

 

We are seeking a total of $2,000 in sponsorships for this event. Two sponsors at $1,000 each or one sponsor at $2,000. For a single sponsor of $1,000 or more will receive one Family Annual Ride Pass valid for one year (value of $299). Sponsorship and business logo/information must be received by Oct 1st to be included in final event marketing.

Friday December 24th - Christmas Eve
